Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Schedvia app or theme ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Schedvia provides online booking functionality for Shopify merchants. The Service includes the Schedvia app (available on the Shopify App Store) and the Schedvia theme (available on the Shopify Theme Store).
3. Shopify Platform
Schedvia operates within the Shopify platform and is subject to Shopify's terms of service. You must have a valid Shopify account to use Schedvia.
4. Fees and Commission
- Free plan: No monthly fee. A 10% commission is charged on each booking payment processed through the Service.
- Pro plan ($99/mo): Monthly subscription fee. A 5% commission is charged on each booking payment.
- Business plan ($199/mo): Monthly subscription fee. No commission on booking payments.
Subscription fees are billed monthly through the Shopify Billing API. Commission is deducted from booking payments at the time of processing.
5. Theme
The Schedvia theme is sold as a one-time purchase through the Shopify Theme Store at $100. The theme is licensed for use on one Shopify store. Resale or redistribution is not permitted.
6. Payments
Booking payments are processed through Stripe. You must connect a Stripe account to accept payments. We do not store payment card information.
7. Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of your service listings and pricing
- Fulfilling bookings made through the Service
- Complying with applicable laws regarding your business and customer data
- Maintaining your own privacy policy for your customers
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schedvia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
10. Termination
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
